=== Bunny hopping/ Strafe jumping ===
  +
While not exactly strafe jumping or bunny hopping in the traditional sense, DUSK has a feature in which the player can reach a much higher speed via jumping and inputting two directions. This is achieved so long as when the player hits the ground after a jump the strafe left or strafe right (A or D) keys are pressed down, and the player keeps constantly jumping. If the player doesn't alternate the strafing directions, he or she will be traveling in a diagonal direction, though there isn't a way to go in a perfectly straight line whilst strafe jumping/bunny hopping, alternating your left and right strafing while jumping will dart the player in a somewhat straight fashion. This skill can be useful for evading fire in both the single player campaign, and in duskworld matches.

Bunny hopping/ Strafe jumping

Rivet/Rocket jumping

Like in Quake, one of Dusk's many inspirations, the player can reach highers areas via the rocket launcher weapon (Called the riveter in game.) by rocket jumping. Rocket jumping is achieved by jumping, aiming at the ground and shooting whilst in the midst of a jump, the resulting explosion will somewhat damage the player but send them flying up higher then they usually could.

Crossbow Popping

In Dusk, you can also do a pseudo rocket jump with the crossbow if need be, which will suspend the player in the air for a split second due to the crossbows kickback, only lifting the player up a tad. Though, if cheats are used to up the fire rate of the crossbow, then it can be used more substantially to the players advantag
